       Atherton LR are hoping to secure the signature of Left Back
       Harry Gaskell, from Ashton Town FC
       Gaskell made several appearances for Ashton Town last season
       until he left to study, now back in the area,Jones is happy with
       another potential addition, with the quality of the squad we are
       always looking as to what areas we can improve, with an
       abundance of left footed players in his squad, this signing
       allows Jones to balance up the left side of his team.
       Jones stated" Its surprising the amount of quality of left sided
       players we have and now the competition for places on that side
       is fantastic, Harry will complement Jack Marshall at LB, we also
       have Ryan Logsdon and Christian Grundy that can fill in back
       there too so we are happy to hopefully get this over the line in
       the next day or two."
       Harry has played at this level before, all we need to do now is
       get his fitness up to the same level as everyone else and get
       him integrated in our playing system and i think when we do that
       we will be adding another excellent player to the side.
       Gaskell will feature in the Atherton Charity Cup game Vs
       Stoneclough on Wed 24th July @ Crilly Park - 7.30 pm ko.
