Hi AZKIT forum members, Let's get started. Like I said in my
e-mail to you, I have sIBM for about 8 years now. I did see many
neurologists during the first couple of years, before learned
that there was little that any of them could do for me. Through
TMA I have learned that moderate exercise and healthy eating is
probably the best thing to do while this disease progresses.
Legs are getting weaker slowly and balance is tentative at best.
Still using a cane.

Thank you John Wagner for setting up this forum. My name is Tim
Goodman I was diagnosed with Dermatomyositis two years ago.
Although I went 8 year suffering and going to doctors that had
no clue what was going on with me. I live in Safford Arizona
and look forward to communicating with other with Myositis on
this forum.

Hello everyone, and thanks to John for setting this up. I had a
muscle biopsy in 2003 which confirmed sIBM. I live in Yuma, AZ
and can still walk unassisted and drive around town. I am
looking forward to hearing from everyone, both the good and the
better things with which we are challenged!

Care to share any info as to the meds. you have taken that have
helped? The strongest I take is Tylenol! Any exercises? :)
