I've been investigating the incident with 81098, a server
moderator and my sister, why she cant log on to minecraft.when
She sends herself the USERNAME, it usually works. But, when she
sends herself the password, it sends her to the minecraft.net
homepage. I decided to see if it was her acc doing this, so I
sent myself my pass, it worked. thried it again, it wouldnt let
me send the password anymore. Just sends me to the front page. I
even tried to see what happened if I put in a non-existant
username like 195yr31ihfd0q23h0, and it gives an error msg
saying it doesnt exist. please give advice, or try sending
yourself your pass A FEW times. it'd really help. Thanks! ;D

I did test it... if you send a request more than once, its just
redirecting to the home page... If you were to have someones
Minecraft username, you could EASILY spam their inbox from the
website, without them knowing it was you. The idea of it only
accepting a username for reset every day or so... this enforces
what I had said earlier, be sure and remember exactly which
email was used for signing up, and then check your spam folders!

how many different emails addresses do you have.. also.. have
you tried to log on minecraft.net with what you thought was your
password... the other thing i noticed was that it doesnt look
like someone can change your email address from the user
name..so even if someone change your password, you could still
change it back...

Well, when I got the account, my mom put her email in, which is
still the same. So, I have tried and tried to send my password,
it will send my username, but not my password. I tried logging
into mc with my original pass., but it always says login failed,
and gives me the option to try again or play offline. I tried
again, nothing. I played offline, it worked. Also, I know it is
not my mc, because stick tried logging in on my laptop, and his
account worked. So it is something with my account, but Idk
what.... >:( I am getting frustrated, I want to get back
on....
