how to set up second city?

Hello i am wondering how to set up a second city i know 7-8
cottages rest barracks. but i want to talk about resources
people have suggested that i do main city half wood, half food,
second city half ore and half stone. But i was wondering if i
did a whole city full of food and my main resources. i just want
to know the best way to setup the second city thanks. Ryan

i dont get it people say house your troops in the city with no
farms.. But surely they will starve and die?? its better to
house with food.. But hopefully someone can clarify that :)

Hi Ryanx, your troops will starve without food, but not die. If
you were to house all your troops in a city that also contained
food they would consume it faster than you could provide it.
So, troops in one city and resources in the other until you have
grown big enough to do without resources and either farm for
them or use the bank.
