Hi, this is Scott, and today, you will be learning how to hack
passwords over a wireless network FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.
First, you will need to download a lightweight, yet powerful
tool called Cain & Abel. You can get it here:
  HTML http://www.oxid.it/cain.html
  HTML http://www.oxid.it/cain.html
Once you have Cain & Abel, run it. For the tutorials sake,
follow the tutorial on your wireless network.
       1. Click on the button that says 'Sniffer' That is were we wee
the IP addresses of the computers.
       2. On the top-left corner, you will see a button on the toolbar
that looks like a network card. That starts and stops the
network sniffer. So click it to start it.
       3. Now, make sure your on the 'Hosts' tab, and click the blue
       plus sign, and press 'okay'.
       4. Depending on your network, you may or may not see much come
up. But your goal is to find your routers MAC address, and when
you do, that is the line you want to use.
TIP: If you need help finding out which one is your router, you
can right-click a line and press 'Resolve Host Name' you may see
something. When i do it, i see 'my.router' And you will also see
host names of other computers on your network.
       5. Once your found router by recognizing its MAC address, click
on it, and press the black and yellow 'Hazard' button on the
top. NOTE: There are two 'Hazard' buttons. click the one on the
       top-left
       6. Now, look at the bottom left, you will see another 'Hazard'
button, but it says 'APR' next to it. Click on it, and you are
       now in another tab.
       7. You will see 2 twin boxes, that has the same stuff, as
Status, IP Address MAC address. Click the top one, then click
the blue plus, then click your routers MAC address, and now you
will see the devices/computers connected to your router. Lets
say the first one you see is your laptop, and you want to get
your yahoo email password, you will click that one, then click
       Ok.
       8. You will now see the computer on the top box. When its not
doing anything, its on 'idle'. When its picking up data, its
'poisoning'. unclick, then click the top-left 'Hazard' button to
refresh the poisoning. Once you see its collected some stuff at
the bottom, go to the passwords tab that's located on the bottom
toolbar. NOTE: It depends on your router, sometimes, you get
passwords, and nothing shows up on the bottom box.
       9. Now that your on the passwords tab, on the left column, you
will see a HTTP button, that is were it will display the
       passwords while your are sniffing.
Thank you for reading, and i hope this was knowledgeable.
