       Paris Recommendations

       Arlie's Paris Recs!
       Where to stay- my favorite area to stay in is the Left Bank (6th
       arrondissement) - great restaurants and shopping/very centrally
       located.  If you want to be more in an area with better
       nightlife, then Le Marais is great (technically the gay
       district.)
       Things To Do in Paris:
       Grab coffee and take a morning stroll through the Luxembourg
       Gardens
       Rodin Sculpture Gardens
       Take a boat cruise down the Seine
       PSG game if one is happening! So much fun.
       Versailles for the day- download the Rick Steves audiobook
       before you go
       Grab some snacks and wine on Rue Cler and take it to the Eiffel
       Tower park for a picnic
       An evening in Montmarte - first, start with dinner. Some
       restaurant recommendations are the famous Pink Mama (no
       reservations available so get there early or wait) or if you
       don't want to wait, head to La Buvette (this restaurant
       originated in NYC but don't let that fool you, it is one of the
       most authentic feeling restaurants I've been to in Paris and a
       really charming cozy vibe!) Then, pick up a bottle of wine (or
       don't) and head up the steps to the Sacre Couer Basilica. It is
       hands down my favorite monument in the world. Be warned, there
       are a lot of steps if you're starting at the bottom but a taxi
       can cut you up halfway if you don't want to walk up the entire
       way. Seeing it at night is other worldly. There will be lots of
       tourists sitting on the steps drinking wine looking out over the
       city, but the church is the real sight to be seen.
       Le General Comptoir- very bungalow-esque vibe nightlife
       Some More Restauraunts:
       Frenchie- my favorite restaurant in the world. You have to get a
       reservation 3 weeks in advance as soon at they become available.
       I have been told if you don't have a reservation the Frenchie
       wine bar across the street is also excellent.
       Clamato- if you are craving raw fish.
       Septime- the fancier version of Clamato (you need a reservation
       here)
       L'as du Falafel- street food. Life changing falafel.
       Here is my list of things I haven't done yet that I hope to do
       on this visit!
       Sainte Chapelle
       Palais Garnier
       De Reyrolle (taxidermy store seen on Midnight in Paris)
       Restaurants: Abri, Bistro Paul Bert, Breizh cafe
       **One last note- if you were considering going to a Moulin Rouge
       show- skip it! hahaha
