The term "Nazca Path" was used to described the hundreds of
lines found in the Peruvian desert for many years. It wasn't
until the late 1920's when a pilot flew over the desert that the
many shapes and images became clear. They weren't lines or
paths at all, but pictographs, of animals, insects, some that
stretched for acres. It was as if they were meant to be seen
from above, suggesting those that made them were either capable
of flight themselves or knowledgeable about advanced
mathematics. Either logical assumption is contrary to
conventional ideology.
These are not crude shapes and haphazard drawings of stick
figures, they are intricate shapes and figures on a fairly large
scale, again, only truly appreciated from the sky. And made by
a primitive people?
Perhaps primitive is the wrong adjective.
