I've banned this person on our server.

I'll unban tommorow night for reasons of me having a chat with
him on TS.
I was glad to explain why he got banned. And said to him, i'll
make a forum post about it, if you care about our server so
much, come back tommorow i'll have you unbanned by then. But
i'll have every aQ member watching you.
Reasons for banning:
after about 10 rounds of spectating this player over district,
overgrown and and the one with the two tanks in the middle :P,
his ironsight followed my path and the path of others around the
map. without the indication of him playing by sound.
His name |thompson, the "|" in front of his name or some other
preposition blocks an rcon tool from showing up in the console.
And you cannot kick him by his name. | = unknown to
CoD-console?
At the time, I was playing incognito, i didn't use aQ|DaHeaVYFo
because when i swapped teams to spectate him, i didn't want him
to notice.
plus, you wouldn't believe the amount of banter that goes one
when no aQ is about.
I'm the last one to call anyone a cheat, but after a good number
of rounds I found it the right thing to do.
And frankly it's the last time I write a ban report, deal with
the rest of em.

thompson is unbanned.
....this reminds me of an Elvis song, and it goes... a bit
.. like this.....
(Lights darken, spotlight shines, gaz appears on stage wearing
big sideburns, gyrates his hips in heart-throb fashion and
breaks into song...)

damn finaly aq forums load up
hey heavy, hey guys..
i was rlly shocked and dissapointend yesterday :?
first of all i ve to say that i never would cheat and i never
thought about using cheats. accuse me of cheating is just 100%
wrong

well this can only be spectators lag and nothing else
stragne that no one on server told me about that ingame.. most
times u see ppl saying things like: bs!.. no way..how u know?
But i dint noticed any comments during this 5,6 games
come on..all maps are this way small u just know where enemie
will come out and you always rdy to fire. first seconds of every
round everyone rushes over the map. i think after playing
severall time all the CoD4 maps u just know all lovley spots and
you just know what the enemie is about. if not, im sorry to say,
you never played tactical.
maybe its what i learnd i OFP, use to watch what is enemie
about to do before i go my way. Heavy i noticed you rushing on
Crossfire always same way. after team swapping, i just know u
will come up this way.. and it was an easy kill :wink:

i didnt know that. just check all players on aQ server and youll
see that i used the nick GGX|thompson few weeks ago in CoD4.
unfortunetaly none of my GGX mates use to play CoD4 (most dont
like it) so i gave up and i just played on witouth GGX infront.

Hopefully we can have a new start.
Heavy saw something and he reacted. Right or wrong its a Server
admins right to ban someone he beleives isn't right.
Our server is relively new but very popular, we are gonna ban
people who aren't cheaters and no doubt not ban people who are.
Its human nature to make mistakes. Unfortunately PB is not
perfect.
I would sooner ban people who are innocent and clear there names
later than allow every hacker out there free rain on our
server.
Thompson get on TS and lets laff this whole affair off.

i can understand your frustration thompson because i get very
annoyed when i get accused of cheating. The truth is so long as
there are cheats out there people will always get accused of
cheating, rightly or wrongly.
This was an unfortunate turn of events and hopefully we can all
forget about it.
Honestly thompson, if your so good that your getting accused of
cheating by heavy (probably our best player..) then you must be
a very good player. Let hope you are good enough to forgive and
forget, if so i think you will fit in very well in our clan.
