Activision Adds a tenner to Mw2

[center]A few weeks ago I mentioned a Price hike on Modern
Warfare 2.
Well its officially no longer a rumour.
Video game fans can expect to pay more for their favourite games
after a major publisher announced a significant price-rise for
the most eagerly awaited title of the year.
In a move that is being hotly debated within the games industry,
Activision, the company behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
let it be known that the much-anticipated game will cost ?55 ? a
rise of ?10 on the usual price.
Analysts said that the move had taken many by surprise
considering that the games industry was trying to weather the
effects of the recession. Others within the industry are
watching closely whether the game will continue to be a success
despite the increase of nearly 20 per cent.

This just goes to show the shear greed of Activision, I am
seriously considering cancelling my preorder of MW2. I am
definately not gonna shell of fifty + pounds for a PC

i still think there taking Euro's....cos a top game here costs ,

i think it's 45 quid for pc.
im lucky because pre-ordered from GAME online and
the original price i paid stands (?25) 8)
order now and u still get it for ?35...
remember lads its not just any old pc game, its 2 years of
solid entertainment, im just glad its not subscription (yet)
