Alright, the art board on the artix forums aren't helping me
any, so I'm gonna ask for help here.
There are a lot of projects I do that I think look good when I'm
done, but I know they're lacking. I'm asking you all to help me
figure out what I can do to make my art better. To start things
off, I'm going to ask about this one:

Don't be afraid to be brutal on your critique.

Before I start, I say the following with all due respect. You're
a great artist and I'm only doing this to help you get even
       better.
So, I'll start with what I don't like about this piece. I can't
realy tell what the focal point is, I'm assuming it's the girl
in the foreground but I shouldn't have to guess, the render
shoulld be placed so that my eyes are drawn to it and nothing
else, I'm not saying the render placement is bad, just not that
       good.
To achive the effect I'm talking about try dividing the picture
into a 3x3 grid, everything that's placed where the lines cross
will draw the attention of the viewer.
Now on to what I do like about it. You created a nice effect
with the fractals without distracting from the main render,
which I know can be hard.
The colors are nice too, they go together and blend well.
Overall, It's a good piece but I could be better. I realy hope
       this helps.

       Hey Zumo,
Well, to start off, I would advice you to pay attention to the
overwhelming use of fractals in the signature, the combination
of all these fractals is creating chaos wherever there are no
       renders.
Secondly, the girl has excellent brightness which does seem to
catch attention, however, I wouldn't say the same for the other
two, you could work a bit on their offset levels and solidify
       them a bit.
Lastly, the font, you have used a very perfect choice of fonts,
but, the prominence of the text in the sig is slightly in
question. You could try to increase them in size, brighten them,
again to draw attention and lastly, try a different method of
placement other than the traditional one.
Other than all this rubbish that I am spewing, good job mate!

To add to what I said earlier about the 3x3 grid, It's called
the rule of thirds and is vital to sig making. If you want more
info on it I have a great tutorial on it that I could link you.

About one third of the way down the picture there's a tutorial
about the rule of thirds. It's under the sub-heading:
       Composition.
I recommend reading the rest of the tutorial as well; It's one
of the most useful art resources I've found.

Alright. I looked at the tutorial and its gonna take a while to
fully understand all these concepts, and it'll be even harder to
apply them all to this banner since its this far along. But I
gave it a shot and here's what I came up with. I'm considering
taking out Jecht (the guy on the right) and moving Yuna and
Auron closer to the center. Then there is a problem with empty
space, though. I could cut out a lot of it, but I'd rather keep
       it in these dimensions.
I'm also thinking about taking out the text completely.

I would personally only limit myself to one render maximum.
Otherwise, the viewer is searching the entire sig around it for
the focal point, when the focal is right there in front of them!
However, I'd have to say that the girl is much clearer than the
first two, and you have the general idea with the fractals. I'd
suggest changing the opacity and maybe the layer mode, to about
50-70% and maybe set it on lighten, grain merge, or overlay.
Clipping the text would achieve a great effect on it as well and
really helps me out a lot with my tags. Besides thee your art
piece is bloody brilliant and has good flow, is really dynamic ,
interesting to capture attention, and really good n the colours.
       :)
       Keep at it!
