Sealgaira looks at Brigid a bit askance again. “Okay, not
knowing who I am, that’s understandable. Not everyone keeps up
with the latest in popular culture, and even my fame has limits.
However...” Here the Sidhe levels her gaze at Brigid, finding
something amiss. “Not knowing that the American healthcare
system is so bad that when a CEO gets shot, half the country is
on the side of the shooter, that is ignorance beyond living
under a rock. So, really, where are you from, Ms. Kenneally?”
It’s not quite an order, but inquiring Sidhes do want to know.
The Fiona’s attention is taken, however, by this troll who is
new, apparently. It is important to look after one’s people
While Sealgaira is curious about Brigid, the new fae’s questions
are far more pressing. “Well met, Rilith of the Ash.” The knight
shakes her head. “No, this is not my place, nor did I bring you
here. This is the Anywhere Cafe. It’s a sort of interdimensional
place where Fae and prodigals can meet, run by a dashing man
named Lucien.” Sealgaira grins. “If he’s your type, give it a
go. I heartily recommend it. I don’t think he brought you here,
though. I think it’s kind of a chance sort of phenomenon.
However, if you wish, we can go find out.”
There is a slight flicker of displeasure in Sealgaira’s grey
eyes. If Lucian is pulling Fae here against their will, the two
of them are going to have words. Words like ‘Unleashing’ and
       ‘Sovereign’.

Dame Sealgaira wants to know where I’m from. For a moment, I
almost tell her, but really, there’s a level of ‘no, you’re
insane’ that even elves reach, some times, and I kind of suspect
if I told her the whole truth in one go, I might hit that
threshold. So let’s take it slow!
“Portland.” I pause a moment, letting my brain acknowledge
quietly that that’s true, even if Cara’sir is a very different
       Portland… “It’s a magical place.” I mean, it is. It’s not Tahiti
       or anything, but…
Rilith of the Ash, eh? The troll gets a wide smile, and a bit of
a nod-in-place-of-a-bow since I’m sitting. “Hi! What brings you
Anywhere, Rilith? Business, pleasure, get lost someplace,
fleeing the wrath of a massively powerful dragon and several
multinational megacorporations and their armies of assassins and
       mages? Just kinda happened?”
What? Look, I’m not saying it’s common in Stupidworld, but we
might not be the only ones who pissed off the wrong Great Wyrm!
I mean, we might be the only ones to do it and live long enough
to get this far, but if there’s a Sam, there might be others who
are just too big to be contained, you know?
Though, Lucien did say that things are less open… maybe they
don’t know the Wyrms run some of the major megacorps? That’s
certainly possible, I guess. Oh well.

Rilith keeps her gaze fixed on Sealgaira, taking in her motions,
her mannerisms, her body language. One might get the feeling
that she is sizing her up, though theres nothing aggressive in
Rilith's posture. She has remained neutral save for her hand
wrapped around the cup of coffee, her fingers having grown
enough to nearly encompass the mug in its entirety. Coming to
some unspoken conclusion the woman settled back into the stool,
letting her form hunch as she tilted her head from side to side
and raised the coffee only to drain it in her second gulp.
With the cup empty she closes her eyes for a few long moments as
she set it the empty vessel down and finally took a moment to
consider the other woman at the bar, taking in the Lavender
eyes, the pointed ears, the equally intensive attractiveness
that both the women before her bore so casually. Her head tilted
ever so slightly. "Hmmmm. Call it fate's good humour." She
muses, a smirk creeping across her lips. "Can't speak to any
dragons though, haven't seen any of those since I was in Maine,
and corporations of all kinds can taste the bottom of my boot,
       every last one of em."
She licked her lips, perhaps trying to take in the last of the
coffee that might remain there as she eyed the cup before she
shook her head as she looked sidelong at Sealgaira once more.
"Anywhere Cafe..." She rolls the name through her mouth before
nodding. "Good to know. That said unless this Lucien needs to
see me I don't need to see him. If anyone brought me here for a
reason they can speak up, or step up." She shrugged as she
reached up and pulled one of the straps on her cuirass to free
it up a bit. "Won't matter to me either way. The Dreaming these
days loves putting challenges in my way just to watch what
       happens anyways."
She'd turn her gaze briefly back to Brigette her eyes narrowing
once more. "You a prodigal?" She inquires bluntly. "Eyes and
ears scream you're like her." She tilted her head towards
Sealgaira. "But you don't smell like us, and you ain't like some
others I know." She turned in her seat then, so that her back
was to the bar so she could put one arm up onto it.
       "So what's the deal?"

"Portland," Sealgaira responds in an even tone. Okay, the woman

Rilith seems to pause for a second, her gaze widening a fraction
from the icy slits they had become and before she seemed to bow

reached up and with a closed fist knocked on the side of her

"Heh...right." A bit of self analyzation seemed to take place

you don't have... the spark lets call it. Eitherway, doesn't
matter, not my business." She shrugged the muscles of her
shoulders flexing against the linen garments she wore.
She'd turn to Sealgaira then and raised a brow. "So, what did I
interrupt by shambling in like the corpse I must look like?" She
asked, looking up and down the length of the cafe side.
"Anything fun? Maybe a little dangerous?" A smirk spread then.
"Brigid did talk about stealing Ferrari." She looked towards the
woman once more with a slightly wider grin.

“Well, yeah,” I shrug a bit as I regard this Rilith carefully,

But then she’s asking what got interrupted, and talking about

       “Ever heard of monkeywrenching?”
And then I walk into the room to come over and sit near myself.
The me-that’s-arrived is dressed a bit differently from the

close to the vest right now. There are… aspects.. of us that the
others don’t need to know about.
I slide the plate over toward Morg, and get the server’s
attention for coffees all around as I give a gesture between the
three people with me right now. “Dame Sealgaira, Rilith,
Morghaine Aithne, ay Brid, meraerthti Scathach.” I shrug, “Or
just ‘Morgan’. We’re not really big on ceremony, unless it’s
like, a big Beltane party or something. Or, you know, Imbolc,
but I try not to put on airs.”
What? Imbolc! St. Brigid’s Day! Mine! And I won’t share! Except
the booze. And the bonfires. And the games. And any other fun
stuff going on. Ok, I guess I’ll share.
“Maybe that’s the difference you sense? Just good, honest,

upnod. "Rilith." She shifted on her stool as she reached into
where a pocket might be on a jacket and pulled out a pack of
smokes, the container rumpled and looking long untouched. She
considered it for a few long seconds before shaking her head
       slowly.
"Anyone know if this place has a patio, or a garden, or a hole
in a wall big enough for me to smoke through?" She's pulling out
a smoke now, no longer concerned so much with all that is being
said and transpiring around her. The smoke has definitely seen
better days, but she jams it between her lips as she rises to
her full height and pulls out an equally beat up zippo.
"Cause I need air." It only takes a moment for the troll to spot
what looks like a perfectly placed outdoor seating area. "Scuze
me." She says as she heads for the door, her hand moving to run
the zippo first up her pant leg to open it, and then down it to
light it, in one swift motion before bringing it up to her face,
cupping it in both hands as she began to light the cigarette
       while on the move.
