       What the hell is the Nexus?

       You will likely see mention here and there of the Nexus Bar and
       Grill. That was the predecessor of the AC, founded like 30 years
       ago and destroyed during the Horizon War. It was a similar
       place, open to just about everyone and focused on giving people
       a peaceful place to interact and get a meal and a drink and
       possibly a night's rest.
       I used to run a PR on WBS called the Nexus; that's the origin of
       the room name/idea. It had limited success largely due to my
       inexperience as a room host, and it didn't last long, but while
       it was there, it was busy.
       In-game, it was run by a Virtual Adept named Taliesyn Morris
       (known as Syn on the D-Web) and Lucien. Taliesyn was
       unfortunately killed during the wars, and Lucien wound up
       pairing up with Ailey Huxley and some other mages to make a
       replacement.
       The Nexus was a much larger Horizon Realm than the Anywhere
       Café, and had acres and acres of land, wildlife, a forest, etc.,
       around/about the bar itself, but the basic concept was the same.
       Over time, as patrons arrive and people need more space, this
       realm itself will grow to fit the needs of the growing populace.
       So, if for some reason your character might have had a
       mentor/relative/friend/etc. with access to the Nexus, you have
       an excuse to come here, because the Nexus tokens have all
       shifted to become AC tokens.
