       Oh my.
       I immediately fumble for my phone and call Grim. When he picks
       up, I share everything I’ve learned with him: The demoness, her
       name, her lore, the fact that the crystals are collecting souls
       and that there’s more of them.
       “I think that this crystal is eating souls. Whoever is using it
       probably has some bad plans for someone -- or a lot of
       someones,” I say. I don’t sound afraid, though. I sound… sad.
       I know there are bad people in the world. I’m not silly. And
       someone has to stop them. If I can use Abbadon’s powers for
       good…
       “If we steal the Crystal from them, I bet they can’t do what
       they’re planning. But we’re going to need help -- a place to
       keep it, someone who can ward it, and enough magical power to
       steal it in the first place.”
       It’s not an entire plan, either. But that’s why I’m saying we
       need help!

       [br][br]I answer my phone immediately and just listen as Abi
       starts speaking right away. "The Cafe or the Chantry are the
       best places to find help." I say with a yawn. I was taking a
       nap. It's my day off. "If they're all over the country, the cafe
       is the better bet. We should start there." Explaining my
       reasoning. "We should meet there tomorrow and see who we can
       find, or see if anyone else is having similar events in their
       areas."

       I fold the crystal into a handkerchief, stand up and head home.
