“Perfect,” I say as I take the yarn and tie it around the guy. I
drag his ass to the head of the table, and with Catherine’s
help, hoist him up into a chair. Then we tie him to the chair,
too. Just for good measure.
When that’s done, and the Sidhe helps out by strengthening those
bonds, I take a deep breath -- this one without coughing
furiously -- and nod to Laine.
“Onward,” I agree. “Now all we need to do is figure out where my
family is. Do we have any fortune-tellers in the party?”

only the truth. MY second though, I hate that Art and it scares
the crap out of me. So I don't mention it. "My strengths are the
elements, not the telling of fortunes. I'm sorry." I say, and go
back to watching for trouble.

He let out a breath. "If you're looking for fortunetelling, Eve,
there's nothing I can do. What I *can* do, is compel him to
speak only the truth." This time he made no move to cast first
and ask questions later. Mind control was a big deal. He looked
sideways at the troll, trying to read her stony features and
what she thought of the art in question.
He was also curious what Jenessa would be thinking about it.

I think on that for a moment.
Mind control?
“I could just directly access his memories like a computer
harddrive,” I say. “Wouldn’t involve controlling him. It’s
invasive, but not…”
I sigh and rub my face a little.
“Or we could compel him to speak truth. This isn’t a decision I
can just make for the whole party, because we’re all taking part
in it. Everyone needs to agree on which path to take.”

I look from Phoebus to Eve. "Either one sounds like a violation,
really." I lift one shoulder and let it fall. "I suppose it
comes down to what has the worse long-term consequences, for me.
I suppose we could even put the question to him."
Though any kind of foreseeing or whatnot sounds like something
that might be worth pursuing at some point.

to say nothing butt he truth, not surprised that he could do it.
he was a sidhe after all, almost all of them had come control
over sovering. What surprised her was what Eve said about being
able to just access the mans memories. She frowned just a little
her expression not disapproving but thoughtful.
"Either would be a violation, but he was trying to destroy Eve's
home, and has possibly done something with her family. he gave
up all rights to fair play when he and whoever he is working
for did that."
"Wake him up make him choose his own fate."
