I just watch with fascination as the rock star heals the cowboy
and roll my eyes when he's super-chuffed to be able to touch
Eve. This trope ends with the Patriarch only softening toward
the hand when they have a kid.

at him and held up her thumb and index finger a little bit
apart. "Little bit" She whispered back before looking back at
Dean.

sexism.

“Sammy made a run for the hills,” Dean says, motioning up the
way we all came. “I think he’ll be fine. The chick was pretty.
Dark hair. Dark eyes. Had a spider on her shoulder, talked to it
like it was a cute little pet.”

My lips quirk into a smirk at the implication, but the
description of who we're after is definitely attention-getting.
We really are acting out a D&D game, complete with a drow chick.
Or maybe an episode of a show with smart-assed brothers hunting
monsters.
"Is Sammy your little but taller brother?" I have to add some
smart-assery of my own.

He stayed close to Jenessa then, listening to the others ask the
questions. He had a few ideas of his own on the topic of pop
culture references, but kept it in check.
"It was just the two of you here?" He asked after a beat. He
squinted then and gazed around the room, looking for residual
magif that wasn't his.
