[br][br]I pocket the potion given to me by Jenessa. I will
remember to just call her that. The Eve crosses my lap... Moving
on...[br][br]Later at the Ranch house I have my shield at the
ready, Eldi Sverđ too ready in my opposite hand. To those who
are not enchanted, I am a pretty blonde woman who looks to be
about 20 years old, in very old tattered clothing. Otherwise,
now that I'm free of the ceilings, I'm very tall, nine feet,
with horns that curl like a goat's. My armor and shield are
reminiscent of the Knights Templar, but not quite
right.[br][br]I approve of Eve's weapons and armor. Her
sorcerous powers seem very useful. As for the wolves, I notice
them but I don't comment on them. I simply stay close to
Eve.[br][br]Great, we're entering another building. Hopefully
the ceilings are high. I step through the opening and follow Eve
into the darkness. When the lurching form begins to approach, I
ready myself. Shield forward, sword arm back but laying the
blade across the top of the shield reading a thrust.

I gotta find one of those portals. Definitely not going to
involve myself with a chantry, though. But now that I have the
information, there's a will. So the ways shall be found. Later.
When we reach our destination, as suggested by our intrepid
leader, I float around the edges, kind of fading into the
background of things. If nothing else, I can be a surprise if
something attacks. Not that I really have the physicality to do
much, but I can kick and hit with some of the middling of them.

She Followed the others through the portal, squinting as they
came out the other side into the bright sun. She looked around
curiously as Eve lead them along. When she saw the first wolf
she stopped for just a second to look at it in a bit of awe. It
was the first wolf she had ever seen that wasn't in a zoo. The
wolves didn't seem inclined to interact in any way so she let
them be.
When they reached the building and Eve opened the door for the
smell of death and decay to waft out she gagged and took a step
backwards away from the building. Phoebus kept her from entering
the building, not that she had been in any hurry to go in, but
the way he pulled out a notebook and wrote things down caused
her to tilt her head.

see them clearly:
A wounded mortal. He approaches the group, and gasps for air,

He just kind of stays there, staring at Eve for a moment. He

It occurs to me that luck would be useful about now for all of
us. Of course, I really should have done it before, but I can't
be on the ball perfectly every time. We've all more or less
implicitly stated we're a D&D party, which is about as closely
related as my foster siblings. Since we really don't have time
or inclination to take a blood oath, it will have to do.

The man blinks in confusion both as his wounds are healed and
he’s given permission to touch -- but not speak to -- Pheobus.
He’s wearing a cowboy hat, some cowboy boots, a button-down
flannel shirt tucked into his belted jeans. There’s bloodstains
on the jeans and stares slack-jawed at the rockstar.
WP: Does he freak the FUCK out?
10, 6, 1 = 1 success. No he does not.
Nobody was going to BELIEVE this!
Meanwhile, Jenessa finds signs of a struggle everywhere. Knocked
over lamps, blood stains on the hardwood floor and varnished
walls, the shattered bulbs in every light-fixture and blown-in
windows. Something must have come through here, used some kind
of magic, and done a bunch of damage before moving onward.
Eve
I don’t know how this Sovereign Art works, but watching the Bard
I figure it out really quickly.
“You can talk to me, Dean,” I say, moving forward. “And you can
touch me.”
“...what?” he says, his tongue finally loosened by the magic.
“What is going ON?”
Pause.
“Wait I can touch you?” he says, a big smile splaying across his
face.
I facepalm. I help him to his feet. “Yeah sure, just tell me
what happened here,” I say.
“I-- I don’t know,” he says. “All the lights started to flicker
and when I came downstairs this was this chick standing there.
She beat the shit out of Sammy and I,” he swallows. “And then
when I blinked she was just gone.”
