[Mage] Madame Leveau's Arcanum Mysteria

[center]Madame Leveau's Arcanum Mysteria[/center]

Madame Leveau's is a Mystic level Chantry with most mages in New
Orleans calling it home. It's old, almost as old as New Orleans
itself. It's original founders are long since dead, save one. He
rarely makes appearances and has long since passed on Deaconship
to young mages. It's had a lot of names over the years, but it
was Leveau who had the strongest influence on it, and the node
it sits on. The wolves of New Orleans have tried for many years
to push the mages out, but they've managed to keep them at bay,
and have an uneasy truce. The only other threat to Leveau's is
the local Tremere population, and they have learned the hard way
that scheming against the chantry is a good way to have pocket
suns appear inside their havens. The current Deacon is Magus
Dorian Radcliffe bani Tytalus Ordo Hermes, and he holds the rank
of Magister Scholae. [br][br]

from
Dorian there are several other mages on the council of Deacons,
but he's the one most mages will deal with as he's the day to
day man. In charge of security for Madame Leveau's is a young
Euthanatos woman who Dorian seems to trust implicitly. She is
usually found in her office on the upper floor of chantry. Her
name is Dierdre McDougal. She had fiery red hair and striking
features and always wears a tailored suit. The Mage in charge of
newcomers, and the newly Awakened is Brian Johnson. Brian is
another Hermetic, but one of House Bonisagus. He runs a school
for newly Awakened in the chantry. Unlike a lot of Hermetics,
Mister Johnson prefers to dress casually. A t-shirt and a pair
of jeans are his day to day. He always wears a smile and has
unkempt hair. He is, however, undoubtedly one of the smartest
people in any given room. Finally, the last person on the
council of Deacons is a man who simply goes by Brother Thomas.
Brother Thomas is a member of the local Celestial Choristers.
He's the guy people go to get advice from. The local guidance
councilor, where this a public school. He fills a lot of roles,
and helps where he can. Most days he can be found in the
Chantry's library maintaining the stacks and keeping things tidy
and in order.[br][br]
The Chantry itself sits in the Garden District among the manor
houses there. The wards on the place make it hard to find unless
you have a token or are with someone who has a token. These
tokens are simple keychains that look like cheap plastic. The
chantry has an Arcane rating 5 otherwise. Along with the tokens,
there are also entrances all around the city into the Chantry.
Correspondence portals in libraries, book stores and other
places where knowledge can be sought after, all owned by the
chantry itself. Each district of the city has at least 1 such
portal. Aside from that it has a rank 3 node, and a few
connections to other places, such as the Anywhere Cafe.
