A new report from Ford shows among other things that we long for
digital detox and that we can expect more usercentric design. It
is not only Ford that has noticed the longing for a more
analogue life. Vinyl has had its days and it has become smarter
to have the phone on silent in your bag rather than lying on the
table. The number of wearables which provide discreet
notifications without the user having to pick up the phone is
also a sign in the same direction.
The Ford report shows among other things that of those
questioned envy people who can free themselves from smartphones
PCs and tablets and out of agree that they would benefit from
a digital detox. Ford itself Phone Number List

points to these trends as the most
important in the report. A technological gap Never before has
technology had a greater impact on the world and our perception
of it. Yet there is an underlying gap between those who have
access to technology and experience it as something positive and
those who do not have digital access.

Digital detox In parallel with many sitting glued to the screen
many are also trying to limit screen time as they are frightened
by the digital addiction. Digital detox is the new black.
Reclaiming control In find it difficult to have full control
humancentered design processes become even more important. When
we talk about cars it is for example driver assistance
technologies that have been specifically developed to relieve
the driver in challenging driving situations.
