       I dare you to assign a meaning
       to each word. (Spaces count, but
       Discount what exists to exist.)
       Tear it into microscopic, irregular pieces
       and rearrange the broken silence.
       (You’ve forgotten to measure the dimensions.
       Divide evenly.)
       Snatch at it,
       like a still brown moth--
       Painted to look like a butterfly.
       (Are acrylics poisonous?)
       Just don't expect it
       to flutter away from the light bulb
       towards the sun.
       (I dare you.)
