Hey, I'm assuming you ASE guys have some rules regarding
cosplaying. (i.e. amount of clothing, weapons, etc.) Are these
already posted somewhere? If you would be so kind to post them
here, that would be great. The purpose of this thread if for
people to be able to find them.
The character I plan to cosplay as carries a gun, and I have a
non-functional, clearly marked (orange tip) airsoft gun. Is it
ok if I bring it?

Hey Zero,
Thanks for your inquiry. I'm curious as to who you are
cosplaying as.
As for your airsoft gun, it is NOT permitted UNLESS it complies
with this exception:
"Easily identifiable toy plastic guns with no moving parts and
that have a clearly visible non-removable orange tip will be
permitted. Resin models will be permitted as long as they are
marked with clearly visible non-removable orange tip."
You've stated yourself that it complies with these requirements
so I don't see the problem. Be extra safe and leave any
clips/magazines at home. That way no security staff will get
the wrong idea.
