Interest Survey: Warcraft Rap Battles?

So, as some of you may or may not know (or may have gathered
from my profile picture on Facebook), I'm an avid World of
Warcraft gamer; and even if you aren't, it's likely that almost
everyone knows the basics of that particular game. =P Ten
classes, kill stuff to get items with bigger numbers to use your
bigger numbers to kill things with bigger numbers to get
items...etc.
Well, my WoW guild has an interesting backstory in that it was
founded and lead by a man known as Nyhm, who was an internet
celebrity for his WoW parody raps/songs, such as "Hard Like
Heroic" (a cover of "The Bad Touch" by the Bloodhound Gang). One
event that we do occasionally as a result is simply called Epic
Rap Battles of Pantheon (yes, a reference to those videos),
where each contestant gets five minutes to write a rap against
their opponent - totally in character. Since a few of my
guildmates might be showing up, including some of the best
players in these rap battles, I was considering doing them live
as a fun little 18+ panel.
So what do you guys think? Is that something you'd be interested
in seeing? I can promise you it will be a hilarious take on the
"iron artist" concept (theme given, art drawn, displayed, and
judged - opponent given, rap made, performed, and judged), and
even if you're not a WoW fan, something worth checking out. =3
(Oh, and yes, I plan on submitting this as a panel once I get
enough interest to help out. And if you want to join in, and
know a bit about WoW, feel free to post that too!)

I like the idea! It sounds fun! Of course I don't know any
Warcraft raps but I would totally go and see it! ;)

Thanks Ikuto! =D And not knowing any raps is basically the
entire point - all you really need is a basic knowledge of how
the game works (or, if you want to play dirty, the person you're
up against) and the ability to make up a rap on the fly. We
usually switch between 5 and 10 minute periods for writing, and
some of the craziest raps come out - some of them will go as
long as 30 or 40 lines! But watching it is probably the most fun
part, to be honest. No pressure, just standing back and watching
people lay verbal smackdowns on eachother. (With my guild's
sense of humor, there's a very good reason this panel is going
to be adults only!)

Does it have to be your own orginal rap or can you learn a rap
from random youtube videos that other people created? P.S. I
don't listen to rap either lol!

Well, the entire idea is that it's made up on the fly. Each pair
gets five minutes to write their raps; they will not know who
they will be paired with ahead of time so as to prevent
brainstorming. (Naturally, this makes the last group a little
bit difficult, but I go on the honor system there.) There is no
maximum length, although there is a minimum of eight lines - we
don't want haiku battles, after all, as interesting an event as
that would be =P
This way it really tests one's mastery of the english language -
and quite frankly, it takes guts to do in the first place, even
moreso on stage. Once you get the hang of it, though, it becomes
easy, and sometimes myself and my guildmates will just start
whisper battles with eachother when we're bored now. Trust me -
it's always a hilarious spectacle, if nothing else. ^.^

who would do this panel? Because this is a really good idea!

Well, while I haven't gotten to talk to the Doctor in a bit, it
looks like this panel will probably be a go after all. Now, I've
decided to go tournament style, and offer a prize - anything in
particular you guys think would be a good idea? Right now I'm
considering something like a Razer headset, but I'm good for
suggestions :3

World of Warcraft game for Mac! :o
Probably a little extreme for a prize.. but man I want that
game! I can only play the game when my free trial comes up once
a year! :'( Maybe you can give away a comic book based on
World of Warcraft? Since it is a WoW Rap Battle... I suggest the
prize should be related to WoW.

Well, I kind of figured most people participating in the event
would have the game already, but maybe a battle chest wouldn't
be a bad thing to toss in :3

Question! Can you PLAN the Rap or does it have to be on the
spot? ( not sure if it even matters. just want to know cause I
might wanna do this if I can come up with a decent rap. )
