Cosplay contest and Masquerade?

I don't know about you, but I really like cosplay contests at
conventions. Well maybe not so much the contest itself, but more
so the chance to see how much work people put into their
cosplay. We should defiantly have one of these xD
And a Masquerade~~ Cause I like skits, and dancing~ xD So I
would totally enter :3
... Psstt... We'll have both right? lols~

Of course we will have both. We'll have some news and updates
regarding this probably closer to the convention as to how to
register, rules & regulations (which are already up), and the
like.

I'm a little confused. Isn't a masquerade a contest? Or are you
calling the masquerade the skit part of the contest?

I have a costume I wish to enter into the contest. But I'm not
sure if it would qualify. It's a Link costume but it's a Lolita
version of his outfit. I will have artwork of the costume to
present for judging but it's fan-art, and I just wanted to know
if that would be acceptable for judging of craftsmanship?
