Ok so I'm going to order my badge online and I was just
wondering will my badge be mailed to me?

I'm not on Staff, but I would say a badge would not be mailed to
you. Conventions usually have you pre-reg then will send you a
confirmation e-mail that you will print & bring with your ID to
pick up your badge at the door.
At least, that's how it's always been done at the few cons I've
been to. :)

Checkered is correct...it would be silly to mail badges to
attendees in most cases because you know how our lovely mail
system can be ::).
When you pre-register online, we will give you a confirmation
which you can bring with you to the convention center to pick up
the badge. I would recommend having that in a place where it is
easy to get to right before the convention. With most email
programs, you can archive that as well.
