Ahoy there, Lenisha. It's good to have you. I think you'll
find yourself in good company at our convention. I do think we
have a panel or two about Japanese culture on the list if that
will sate your hunger for knowledge.

Hello everybody~! ^_^ I am Katlyn, though Kat or Ed are
preferred nicknames but anything is fine ^^ I am from Norton,
Virginia which is around 2 and half to 3 hours from the con,
depending on traffic and who is driving.
Favorite anime and manga is a hard question, but I'd have to say
Fullmetal Alchemist on both there. For the anime both the
original AND Brotherhood, because both are good to me.
Hmm, not sure really here. I do hope to see a nice variety of
panels, particularly fun or educational ones, and well cosplay
related stuff~ ^_^
This will be, I think, my 4th con. I've been going to AWA every
year since 2009, and I haven't had the money, or the means, to
make it to any others until now. ^^ I'm very excited for a new
con, new area, and fantastic location~! I very much look forward
to ASE, meeting everyone, and of course having a blast~ <3

Im LadyAri to everyone everywhere online. From SC. Ill b making
the drive up to join staff. Im not terribly new to cons; my
group even does panels now :-) Ive worked IchibanCon,
ColossalCon, Triad Anime Con and will b adding ASE (maybe Aoi
Uma) and BanzaiCon to that list. What can I say, I love con lol.
I enjoy loads of series but will recommend Ichiban Ushiro No
Daimou- its on Netflix as Demon King Daimou now. Manga Id say
Bride of the Water God is one of the most beautiful. I hope to
meet cool new peeps and have fun with everyone at ASE ^_^*

Kat- It's nice to meet you, but I am terribly curious...how in
the world did you get the nickname Ed? I can't quite derive
that from Kat...
Ari- It's also nice to meet you! It's distinctly possible I
met you at IchibanCon, since I worked that one too. I really
liked the Demon King show but they started moving too fast in
the last couple of episodes and it got weird, in my humble
opinion.

Hello! I'm Rachel Martinis and I live in Bristol, Tennessee.
About 1-2 hours away from the Convention.
I'm going with my best friend Chelsi Largent and her guy friend
Donny.
I'm going to the con as Silent Hill Nurse Joy
(Keeping the pink wig and dress(adding creep to it)
While having a paper mache mask and nasty nasty apron and
tights.
My favorite Anime has to be.... Ninja Nonsense or Naruto. (I
have many :3)
My favorite Manga has to be Azumanga Daioh.
I would love to see group photos, markets, and fun games.
(Mostly the ones that involve you being into character.)
I'm very excited because this is my first convention. :3

@Nik Ah yes. XD Well most of my local friends met me when I
cosplayed Edward Elric for a college costume contest, so they
called me Ed for a long time until they learned my name. It
stuck though even after they found out my name, and some just
indroduce me as Ed now. ^^ Which gets awesome when they yell
"EDWARD" across a room or hall, I get the best looks when I
reply to the name. ^^
@Rachel I live somewhat close to Bristol! :D And I look forward
to that cosplay!!

as to cosplay at my undergrad.

convention is only my third, so we shall gain experience

heyo! im Becky, and from somewhere in the mtns. of NC. i'm an
anime and manga newbie, but i'm super psyched to be
going!!!!!!!!!
since i'm just a newbie, ive only read a few mangas and watched
a couple of animes, but my fave manga is Alice in the Country of
Hearts, and i just fell in love with Ouran High School Host
Club, but i really like Blood +, too.
this is only my 2nd con and 1st with a costume (for my 1st i
just wore a pikachu jacket and my cool contact lenses that have
giant Xs on them. they creeped out a lot of people.), so i don't
know what to expect, but i'm looking forward to buying a
truckload of Hi Chews. XD
so yeah, thats me. if you see a No Face, Boris Airay, or Joker
wandering around, it's most likely me.
