Who needs electronics? (the Tabletop thread)

Gaming isnt just Video games, and we all know that. Theres
Trading Card Games, tabletop roleplaying, all sorts of other
stuff. So speak out internets! What does everyone play? I for
one would love to see some tables set up somewhere for card
games like Yugioh/MTG/Cardfight Vanguard/etc...

To be honest, I haven't had much experience with playing with
either the card or the video game portion of the series.
What do you guys think will be more popular with the attendees?
I may need your help with this one.
Also, btw, one of our confirmed dealers in the Anime Marketplace
specializes in Pokemon cards and will have the newest series and
a lot of others with them when they join us in July 2012. They
do local Pokemon tournaments here in Knoxville and I will get a
better sense as to what they do tomorrow when I meet with them
in person.

Its always good to have that kind of vendor, but don't limit our
sources to JUST Pokemon. I'm not sure whatelse is run locally
down there, but Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh seem to be the
2 biggest card games to my knowledge. Pokemon is one of the more
fun, but sadly it falls to the big 2 in terms of popularity.

As far as we know, there will be Pokemon and Vanguard
tournaments there at least this year and maybe more to follow in
2013 as resources are a little tight (manpower most
specifically).

I somehow managed to miss this thread for months. I'm part of
the vendor team that'll be selling cards in the dealers
room/agr.
As is I'll mostly be hanging out in the AGR playing games most
of the time. I'll have YGO, Magic, Pokemon and Vanguard decks on
me to play (and something like all of the current decks for
Vanguard at the time of the con including Spectral Duke) and
possibly (Vanguard for sure) for people to borrow. There'll
definitely be a Vanguard tournament on Saturday and drafts for
Pokemon (Dark Explorers) basically whenever we get 8 people to
do a draft.
In terms of sealed product we'll have at least a box or two of
each game with us (Avacyn for Magic, Dark Explorers and possibly
Next Destinies for Pokemon, Breaker of Limits and Calvary of
Black Steel for Vanguard and Photon Shockwave and Battle Pack:
Epic Dawn for YGO) and we'll have a good selection of singles
for Pokemon and Vanguard and a smaller selection of singles for
YGO. We don't currently have plans for Magic singles at ASE.
We'll also have Trial Decks for Vanguard and as mostly a
personal purchase, I'll have all 3 Weiß Schwarz english decks
with me in the AGR and a box worth of each of them for sale in
the dealer's room.
