       The start of an epic journey // open, Starter Pokémon

       Dasher paced nervously in front of Professor Oak's lab. [I]Why
       did he call me here on such short notice? Did I leave
       something?[/i] he thought, full of worry.
       Dasher Hutchings was something of a spectacle. He was tall for
       his age; 6 feet 4 inches, to be precise. He wasn't overly
       skinny, though. Since Dasher was, naturally, a runner by heart,
       he had well muscled legs and arms. He was the outdoor type,
       after all. On top of his more athletic style, though, he was
       quite the nerd. He was hired as an intern to work at Professor
       Oak's lab, and he'd been studying Pokémon there for four years,
       ever since he turned twelve. But, unlike others that were his
       same age around that time, he didn't feel the appeal of becoming
       a strong Pokémon trainer to become the next champion. No, he
       believed in other pursuits.
       In any case, he waited impatiently outside of the lab, wanting
       to know why he was called there in the first place.
