True Cross Academy. A very prestigious and well renowned school.
It was so large, it was a city unto itself.
Only those who happened to be lucky enough ended up here;
although some happened to be there by sheer coincidence and
timing. The luck, huh?
Anyways, beyond how massive it was and all of TCA's resources,
it was similar to an ordinary high school; there were plenty of
different clubs to join, large and spacious classrooms, "eager
young students", and a wide variety of subjects to learn. There
was Math, Science, Language Arts, History, Technology,
Engineering, Robotics, Physics, even a few dance classes. But
the best and most secretive course? Cram School.
What's that? Guess I forgot to mention it, huh? It's an after
school course. The reason why it's so secretive is because they
teach, what most would call, an absurd topic. They teach bright
young students how to become Exorcists; those who vanquish the
demons that flood into our world, Assisah, from theirs, Gehenna.
You need to be able to see demons and get a temptaint; that's a
demon affliction of many sorts that allows you to see them.
Oh? How would I know about this Cram School and demons? Well, I
guess that's an easy question to answer. I'm a demon.
Sounds absurd, right? I mean, why would a demon be attending a
course that was meant to destroy demons? I have my reasons. And
so do the other students here.
Oh, what's my name? My bad. I'm often forgetful. My name's Cin
Odeas, and I'm a Son of Satan. And this was my first time at the
Cram School.
Both excitement and dread was my emotions; how couldn't I feel
these? But my hopes were high. This was a new start and,
hopefully, the end to my previously chaotic life.
...Little did I know that it was just the beginning.
