Hatsune feels her face go warm, and she looks at AshenNightmares
then at the others, "Seems we had a run in. We are very sorry if
we are interrupting!" She says, a little fast. As she was
freaking out. She freaks out over stuff easily.

Ghost looked over at the others. [B]"More people to hear a
tragedy, huh?"[/b] he commented softly. He turned back to Ally,
eyes dark. [B]"They turned on the machine. I can still remember
everything that happened that day. The machine whirred loudly,
and those... beasts... were watching us suffer. But then,
everything went to hell,"[/b] his eyes narrowed. [B]"Green bits
of light began to shoot out from the machine. The men fled.
Terrible quaking shook everything. And this-"[/b] he stared at
the vial spitefully. [B]"-fell around my neck. The machine
exploded. Everything went white. Incinerated. I came to a few
days later. Badly injured, but alive. The place was a mess.
Everything was gone. Everything was ruined. There was a puddle
nearby. I got to see what I turned into. My brown stripes? They
turned a glowing, neon green. My blue and green eyes? They
turned black and white, and white and black. The only things
that saved me from the fate of my family? The luck that I was
far enough away to avoid instant incineration, and this vial.
Irony is cruel. The virus meant to destroy me had become my life
source,"[/b] he dug his claws into the ground. [B]"And I did die
from that explosion. At least, partially."[/b]
Ashennightmares looked up, staring at Hatsune. [B]"Oh, sorry.
Didn't see ya there."

Hatsune just looked at the other cat, with sad eyes. Then looks
towards AshenNightmares, nodding an 'it's ok', not wanting to
spoil the moment.

Ally turned her head towards Ashennightmares and Hatsune for a
moment, but then quickly turned back to Ghost. "I'm sorry to
hear that," she said softly, seeing the sorrow in the tom's
eyes.

Ghost nodded solemnly. He raised a paw to his head, claws out.
He flung it to stab his head. Of course, it didn't work. Two
things happened; first, was that his head went transparent where
his claws were to make contact. The second was that some of the
blue liquid shielded the part where he would've hit. The tom
lowered his paw. In return, the transparency and the blue liquid
went away. [B]"I can't be hurt anymore, no matter how hard I
try. Can't commit suicide. I'm already half dead, after all.
Half ghost..."[/b] he then fluffed up in his scarf. [B]"I can no
longer age. No longer truly feel. No true emotions, no love. No
need to sleep; I've tried. Can't kill myself, nor can anything
kill me. I can hurt, but nothing can hurt me. It's a curse,
really,"[/b] he said with a light laugh. [B]"A sickness with no
cure. The thing that was supposed to kill you saving you
instead. No way out. Sometimes I wish I were dead. Better than
living now. After all, what's the point of living when
everything I care about, everything I loved, is on the other
side? I can't reunite with them, either. Forever isolated,
doomed to an existence that makes no sense. Living, yet dead.
Loving, but can't love. Showing emotions when none exist.
Wanting to die but can't do so."[/b] he let out something
resembling a psychotic laugh. [B]"It's funny that I haven't
completely lost my mind yet. I'd have nothing holding me back."

Ally stared at Ghost for a while, before walking over to sit
down next to him. "I'll help you search for the cure," she said
softly to him. "I'll be at your side, no matter how harsh the
journey would be." she stared directly into Ghost's eyes, as if
trying to comfort him.

Ghost cracked a faint smile. [B]"I've been searching for that
cure ever since I left that building. I've searched far and
wide. If you think you can even help find it remotely..."[/b]
(What's funny is that, if I plan on writing a fanfic for him, I
already know how it would end. With him finding the cure and
having to make the decision. But he eventually chooses to keep
his current life and destroys the cure, because he finds solace
in who he became instead of trying to search for a way to go
back to who he was.)

Ally narrowed her eyes. "It's alright if you don't need my help.
I'd better be off now." she hissed and got up, preparing to
leave.

Ghost sighed. [B]"I didn't mean it like that. It's just...
Everyone that gets close to me has ended up hurt, or worse. I
don't want someone with me who doesn't know the
consequences."[/b] he said z standing up from the snow.
Ashennightmares shrugged. [B]"I guess everyone's got a dark
past,"[/b] he commented, walking off.
