Oh, I can list endless reasons.
1. They're embarrassing
2. They're dumb
3. They have no purpose other than to torture us
4. They take forever and are annoying
5. Everyone in 621 sings badly if they do what Ms. Rodrigues
says

To number 5: Yes, because, haven't you noticed, whenever a
teacher tells students to do something, they exaggerate it? Like
when she told us how to sing the "king" in the song, .... I
don't know how to describe it. It's kind of like everyone just
screamed it compared to the rest of the song. And at the
beginning of the year, when she told us to "smile with our eyes
when we sing", everybody's eyes bugged out like Jeffrey's donkey
pencil case. It was hilarious.

I have no idea ;D
It's unpleasant to listen to students exaggerate music teachers'
instructions, but I don't blame anyone yet.
