i need to put some form of shed in my new fields for my goats.
i am looking for a field shelter or a block of stables, or a
shed.
will payof course and collect
if you have some thing that might suit please let me know.

I know it is probably a long shot but would it be worth putting
a request on all the North Wales Freecycles. Someone may just
want shut of some. Hope you aren't offended by the suggestion

i like that idea - did it need planning permission?
I am in a special landscape area.

I am sure it was Anna that told someone on PL that planning
permission wasn't needed for chickens, so she suggested a stable
was built for the use of chickens and if the horse went in it
too how could they stop him lol
You do really need to check councils as sometimes even a field
shelter will need permission even if it has no floor.

no its not :( but I am hoping to make something similar in the
future x
Mostly you do not need planning permission for anything that
does not have a concrete base/foundation, a friend of mine has a
stable block and its wooden mounted on breeze blocks and she
pops rubber matting down x alsong as its removable you are okay,
and TBH just keep it quiet, pop it some wher a ickle bit hiden
and wait and see if they come and ask you to remove it x
GOOGLE palette buildings there are some great ones x

i am waiting for Darren to get home so i can show him what we
are going to be making next lol.
i don't think i would need it to be so high, my goats aren't
that tall.
it is a brilliant idea though - pallet hunting here i come!

You can get second grade pallets for nowt form your local
buildersmerchants, the heavy duty ones tend to cost a couple of
quid x
I use roof tile crates in my winter paddocks as hay mangers x

I had a humongous fire a couple months back and burnt loads of
the buggers, what a shame.
I may have to go get me some more pallets, I have been searching
ebay almost constantly for a shed to house more chooks, why
hadn't I thought of pallets. ::)
