Hi, I am in Worcestershire.
A little about 'Dottie'.........I bought her as a yearling from
Weatheroak Manor Stud, totally wild and unhandled :( . At the
time, we had stables and a yard, so she was handled on a daily
basis and had a headcollar on and lead out to paddocks.
Unfortunately, our landlord was short on cash and had someone
who was willing to pay him 3 times the amount of rent we paid
and so the yard was lost. Since then she is on full turnout with
3 other geldings, one being her full brother. She is very
friendly , but does like to know who you are on first sightings.
She has been led out on the roads and is coming along very well
as far as traffic is concerned. She has her feet trimmed by the
farrier on a regular basis. She has lovely floating paces and
is very correct. My intentions were to show her in-hand at the
national breed shows and get her broken for ridden showing, but
due to health problems I am in the unfortunate position of
putting her up for sale to get something much smaller that I can
run with. I believe she is better as a blank canvas for someone
to start completely fresh with as we all educate in our own ways
. :)
