[center]Wings outstretched and flapping silently, the large
avian soared through the dark sky, a silhouette against the half
moon. The lone barred owl - Darius was his name - had been
flying for a while, and although the night was his element, he
was still growing tired. I need some rest. the lightly striped
male owl thought, black eyes scanning the ground. Angling his
body, the silent flier headed for a tall tree and landed
gracefully on a thick branch, gripping it with his talons.
Despite the fact that he was smack-dab in the middle of Bearclan
territory, he could hardly smell, so the owl had no clue he was
trespassing.[/center]

Battlefield/star padded up towards the owl, and looked boredly

cat. Darius was somewhat surprised that domestic cats like this
one were roaming around so late at night. "Greetings." he
hooted. "My name is Darius. What is yours?"[/center]

change in mood, as he now seemed to be angry. "Is something
wrong, sir - or Battlestar?" the barred owl asked

snarled at him. When the other cat arrived, he looked down. "I
apologize, sir. I don't got the greatest sense of smell, I'm
afraid." Darius said, pointing to his beak with a brown-striped
wing. "Thank you for your courtesy." The large avian turned to
Jaguarstar.[/center]
