[center]The pure black tom padded through the woods, carrying
the straps to a pair of ragged twoleg bags in his jaws. Hydra
had been wandering again with his merchandise, but he was
getting weary. Pausing, the trader's bright yellow eyes scanned
the area until he found a tall tree with a thick trunk and lots
of branches. Perfect. he thought. Grabbing one bag, he dragged
it up the tree and wedged it into a fork in the branches. Then
he brought up the second one. Finished, the scarred feline lied
down on a branch almost hidden by leaves, letting one foreleg
and his tail hang lazily off the side. Little did he know was
that the tree was right on top of the Bearclan border. [/center]

Battlefield grinned. He saw another black tom, with scars as
well. If he had green eyes and was less scrawny, boy, would they
look EXACTLY the same. The large tom bounded over, easily seeing
Hydra in the bright daylight of the forest and looked up
flicking his ear. The black tom grinned. "Hey," The co-leader of
BearClan called casually, "guy, get down here." As always, the
tom was demanding and impatient, but he'd see what this tom
held, since they looked exactly the same, and any cat that
looked the same as him was counted handsome. Because Battlefield
was a handsome boy. He bore his electric green eyes at Hydra,
holding back snapping, remembering to be kinder on first visits.

At the call of another cat, the trader blinked his yellow eyes
open. Below him was a tom who looked nearly just like him.
Strange. Hydra thought curiously. Getting to his paws, he leapt
down from his perch, leaving the bags in the tree for now. Maybe
I can make business with this guy. "Hello. Who might you be?"
the Hydra asked politely, looking over the dark tom.[/center]

But Hydra is a former kittypet, then alley cat. How's that
supposed to work? o 3o
"You sound like a clanner." he murmured, more to himself than
the other tom. "The name's Hydra. I'm a wanderin' trader." How
come he had two names? That was certainly odd.[/center]

Battlefield frowned. "I am a clanner, the leader of two clans. I
just haven't gotten my names yet, and I quitel ike the name
Battlefield." The green eyed tom rolled his eyes then flicked
his ears. "Well, what's for sale?"

I can imagine both of their reactions when they find out
Hydra: brother? owo -slowly hugs-
Batty: get the f.ck off me
"Interestin'. The name fits ya." It certainly did; this tom sure
looked like a battlefield with his multiple scars standing out
against a black pelt. And Hydra didn't look much different. The
trader's eyes lit up when Battlefield asked about his
merchandise. "Well, I got me some herbs, and some twoleg stuff.
I also collect nice things as I wander." he replied, leaping up
into the tree and slowly dragging down his two bags. "Take a
look inside."
ooc. Hydra has a cell phone, marigold, an apple, a purple
collar, and a few blue jay feathers. It's hard to keep track
'cause he's also trading in Deerclan right now. x3[/center]

bring that long thing with the buttons on it [cell phone] for
my sons." The black tom looked Hydra in the eye. "How much?"
