Hey Everyone! This will be my first guide in general,if you have
any questions or advice be sure to say so!
Summary:
1. Why would I want go Armadyl/Kree'arra?
2. Requirements.
3. Armour and Inventory.
4. Tactic (yea, sort of >.> ).
Why would I want to go to Armadyl/Kree'arra?
The most valid reason most people will have is either to get an
armadyl set themselves, or just to make money. When I joined
this server I tried it out while having around 50 prayer and 65
ranging ( start off at glacors, can be safespotted and if you're
a tad lucky you can get a head start by getting a pair of
boots). I went with the most terrible gear I had, but managed to
get a kill after some time, the drop was luckily enough a helm!
It boosted starting up a bit.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but I find bossing the
most fun activity to do on the server. With some time and a bit
of luck i'm sure everyone will love it!
For the set prices of Armadyl you can always visit the Price
Guide
HTML http://www.runegods718.smfnew.com/index.php?topic=4.0,
but you
can always ask a member of the staff or someone in the "Help"
friends chat to inform you.
Requirements.
To be honest the only requirement that is mandatory is 40
Prayer, to make use of Protect from missles, but since the
minions are still around and it would take a long while to get
the kill with just that level, it's a waste of time to start
right away.
The requirements to at least get some kills done each inventory:
40-45 Defence, to make use of Green Dragonhide/Rune and an
Archer Helm.
61 Range, to use a Rune Crossbow with Runite bolts/Dragon bolts
(e) etc.
40 Prayer to use Protect from Missles.
Please keep in mind that the requirements are MINIMAL, if you're
higher in all of those skills of course it isn't a problem!
Armour and Inventory.
You might be wondering, how would I even be able to afford all
that gear he's talking about? As a new player you only have a
limited amount of wealth, so how could I afford everything I
need?! Luckily the prices of the minimal armour required aren't
that high, but if you're going for a higher level setup the
price might be a bit too much. If you want to step up your bank
when starting, make sure to take a look at training Crafting,
guaranteed profit!
There will be four shops you'll have to go to. The first three
are for Range armour, melee armour and Food, all placed right
here

(north of home teleport). The fourth one
will be east of the home teleport
HTML http://puu.sh/4kw5F.jpg
at the NPC called " Also, I normally
don't use familiars unless I want to concentrate deeply during a
trip or want to stay for quite a bit.
Inventory and Gear Setup:
1. Low level/Bloody poor!
HTML http://puu.sh/4kwkn.jpg
The first set up is good enough to last at least two kills at
armadyl, depending on food drops possibly more. as you can see
minimal range armour will be used, which is affordable but as
you'll be training while bossing, you won't be using it for
long. The reason the Rune items are in my inventory, is because
they're used at the start of each spawn (will be explained at
"Tactics"). This should all be affordable with the money you've
received while joining the server.
2. Mid level/Welfare Setup.
HTML http://puu.sh/4kwCC.jpg
As you can see the body armour has been upgraded at this setup,
going from Green to black. This is most likely the setup you'll
be using until you get your own Armadyl parts for use. The
dharok legs are used as a melee defence. The glaivens aren't
needed but if you have received a pair from Glacors, why not use
them! The whole set up (excluding the boots) Should only cost
about 15m at max, if stacking up in potions!
3. Personal Setup
HTML http://puu.sh/4kwFQ.jpg
My own personal setup, some of it is the Armadyl helm and Body,
which I've received, not alot to say about this setup because
there are of course a LOT of things that could be improved, but
depending on the amount of bank you might be able to get it in
max gear!
Tactic
As far as tactics go for bossing on here, there's the method I
use to save supplies during the start of the kill:
Before I teleport, I put on my melee armour, this can be the
Rune platebody and/or legs or something else as such, DON'T
FORGET TO USE PROTECT FROM MISSLES BEFORE TELEPORTING!"
When I spawn in the room, directly attack Flight Kilisa, which
you'll notice he follows you and deals some melee damage, the
damage you take from this minion drains the most supplies,
because you're not able to switch to Protect from Melee at this
boss!
After Flight Kilisa is killed, aim for Kree'arra and finish her
off for a drop!
?????
Profit! (If not, redo step 1 to 3).
