Happy Momma's day (Callie & Momma & anyone else who want

It's mother's day and i'm excited, I wait until mommy's doing
something and out of the living room and then go and set her
gifts on the coffee table. I'd made the card at school but i'd
made the hand print flower picture at home in my room and kept
it secret so she didn't see until today.

I had been really quiet and feeling shy even though I’m adopted.
I guess I have a lot of unresolved issues but Momma is trying
her best. So it’s mommas day and I’m not sure how to celebrate
it that much. But I get my crayons and colored pencils and I set
on my picture I decided to draw for her. I figured she would
understand. The only person I ever had was my horrible father
who probably scarred me for life. I had woken up and then made
my way downstairs where Callie is. “Hey” I say softly.

Waking up on Mother's Day I head downstairs and go right into
the kitchen to make some coffee. I had already made the decision
that we would be staying home from church and spending the day
as a family.
Heading into the living room I'm surprised to see Kitty and
Callie already awake. "Good morning, girls," I tell them as I
sit in between them and give each of them a hug and kiss before
seeing the gifts on the coffee table.
"Aww," I say as I pick up the card and read it. "Thank you,
Callie. And the handprint boquet is very cute, too," I say as I
put an arm around Kitty. I know today is maybe a new thing for
her.

I woke up and had already been downstairs. I had a mothers day
gift perfect for momma. But I really just was kinda waiting. I
wanted Callie and Catalina to be able to surprise momma as well.
I smile a little bit as I look at my family. "Morning everyone."
I say quickly. I hug momma and kiss her cheek. "Hey momma's
day, momma." I say softly.
