Theres a few.
Radio North - 846KHz If I remember correctly comreg has visited
them multiple times and are fine with them due to them being on
MW and their programming being mainly religious and country
music
Radio Star Country - 981KHz
There was also an Energy AM around 1300-1400KHz that broadcasted
periodically from around Wicklow I think. The frequency changed
once or twice and there was a Facebook page for them aswell.
Aswell as the rest listed on the bandscan.

There are a small few still on but pirate radio in ireland is in
it's death throws unfortunately. All the stations that are on or
are possibly still on are listed in the band scan thread, first
post.

I think they had more high power stations in the 80’s and 90’s,
someone was asking on rn if there were more stations on mw than
fm, I think they have a few more stations there that can reach
the skywave at night, were we only have radio blackbeard, we
have the dutch pirates too that we can hear late on an evening.
I think too that pirates on fm in both the uk/ireland are much
rarer now, quite a number of threads on rn are about it too.

The thing is there really isn't much of a reason to bother now
given the internet exists. You can set up a station for buttons
and have access to a world audience (whether they listen is
another story) but the access to them is there. As well as that
you don't have the risks of the authorities turning up and
possibly taking everything if the worst case happens and they do
find the studio. The risk vs the reward is no longer there i
think. I do miss pirate radio but at the same time given the
choice on offer via the internet i wouldn't want to go back now.

True I do miss hearing energy 106, a long time ago now in the
past, the lenghts gone to trying to hear this, that era were
anything new would appear, new stations even the launch of
licenced stations seem to provide optimism at least were I lived
in the late 90's. Energy is online, lj doing his djing else were
suppose other stations too doing the do like betty boo… :D ;D
Seemed like there were stations down in cork, radio caroline, I
don't know how resent this video is I saw, there was club fm in
2015, I was interested by that too, think that was still been
heard by a dxer 10 years ago must of had some power.

i believe. Club fm in cork
(87.5 if i remember rightly) were raded a good few years ago. I
think that was heard as far as poland? Not sure what power they
were running but the odd station from cork has been known to
travel far if the circumstances facilitate it.
