Some of you may know me for tanking around in 'The Diamond White
Fiesta' for those who don't it looks like this:

Unfortunately i've had a sh*t week in that i no longer have a
job :/ lol.. Don't really wanna dewel on the whole fact of being
jobless sh*t any longer then i already have and being that i
didn't win the EuroMillions on tuesday i'm still looking!
However whilst assisting my dad with a windscreen replacement on
a Mk5 my neighbour whose a self employed mechanic who works from
home, came up to us and said he has a car on his ramp which came
in for an MoT, failed and the owner replied with 'Just scrap it'
so he looked at me and said for £150 its yours!
So we went and looked at it, it had been stood up for atleast 6
months and the interior had gone mouldy, but i was interested in
2 things, Engine and Body... Im happy to she both are sweet!
Arches & Sills have NO ROT at all! With a tiny amount coming
through on the boot, and the engine is sweet as, with 83k miles
       on the clock!
So my dad said to me, you either buy it and break it or buy it
fix it and sell it, or if you want swap all the parts over from
the white one and sell that... Either way it might may you a
       little bit of money.
So we took it (Payment and Logbook will be sorted out tomorrow
       afternoon!)
       Specs:
       1.25
       83k
       C/L
       PAS
       Electric Windows
The list of things i know needs doing:
       CV Boot
       New battery
       Back box(possibly mid section)
       Boot popper has been removed
       New parcel shelf
New hubcaps (might just replace with my old caps)
       Small leak from the Rad
       Roof bar covers
Lacquer peel on spoiler and both mirrors
       And a f*cking good clean!!!
Anyway, pics and the first installment i've what i done straight
away: strip interior, clean & wet vac!

So, Project Dave took a massive jump today. Jumped in my trusty
Diamond White Fez to Milfield Autos in Peterborough and got a
new Battery (with 3 years warranty) and a new exhaust (Cat back)
for a grand total of £100.98 chucked it all back in the Endura
got home got the Zetec in the air and me and dad set about
pulling the rusty old zoorst off... Now i remember replacing the
system on the Endura and the bolts on the midsection where an
arse to remove. The Zetec was a doddle XD
Only took one pic buts its a side by side
  HTML http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p678/SykoRobbo7/DSC_3804_zpsc6fc7558.jpg
Total spend so far - £250.98
Next up a full inspection of the brakes & waxoil all brake pipes
       New wiper blades
Visit the scrapyard to get some finishing touches
Sorry theres not many photos but i want to wait till i've Washed
and polished. I might machine polish also as theres a couple of
       fine scratches here that there

       C&C Welcome

       Cheers Guys!

Gave the car a bit of love today!
Got it in the air again and air lined the brakes cleaned them up
and reset the handbrake. Then wax oiled the brake lines for a
       bit of protection.
I then got the steel wheels out of the shed which used to be on
the Diamond White Fiesta and put them on the green one so it has
a set on with a decent tread!
After that i gave it a good polish, glass, engine bay. door
shuts, plastic trim and tyres all done. Looks awesome now :)

The final fault with this car has been fixed.. A broken earth
wire in the boot has been soldered on.
Then ried the white wheels on the car. Not quite sure what i
think about it.. On the Endura they look mint. Not sure if the
       white & green works.
       Thoughts?

Discovered this car had a ridiculous water leak last week.
Someone came to look at the Endura, after the went i swaped the
cars over on the driveway to get this one out of the way and
looked at the passenger footwell to see a swimming pool staring
       back at me.
Right then and there i knew it was a big leak! So i recruited my
dad to look out for the leak while i poured water on the car. I
thought it was a door seal at first but we found the leak was
due to the engine loom grommet wasnt seated properly, after it
was seated we then found a hole had been cut into it, i think
someone installed a sub/amp in the boot and when they pulled the
wiring out the disturbed it, so we stuck on 'trimie' on it and
covered it up as best i could!
Then got the wet vac out whipped the seat out and took the
carpet out, left the car running for a few hours with the
heaters on to dry it out. then put it all back together and jobs
       a goodun!!
Now shes all sorted and ready for an MoT (Monday 2nd December)!
