Re the question asked in the daily digest, I want to keep the
group going, I find it hard to "do" sometimes but I love it!

Hello? Anyone there?
Sometimes life gets busy and there is no time to craft or go
online, but it does only take a couple of minutes to pop in and
say sorry I can't join in, but I will vote etc. Margaret has
worked so hard to keep this group going, with great ideas for
competitions and prizes too. She has trawled the internet
finding something that works for everyone.

ended, as I loved seeing what people came up and there were some
great photos. what will Dave do on a Sunday morning now? Summer
can often be a slow time with people kept busy in gardens and on
holiday, but Margaret needs your support, lets keep this group
going........please?

Haven't had a Daily Digest come through since last week, so I'm
obviously missing something!
Have had little craft time so far this year - even my Friday
craft group time is spent not doing a lot, as a couple of the
girls are going through tough personal times and we seem to just
be chatting. I do try to get in and vote all the time - have
only missed a couple due to timing.
Margaret has done a great job trying to keep us all interested
with her comp variety, etc, but I think the lack of conversation
on the group is due to it not coming up on email like it does
with Yahoo. With this group you actually have to go in and look
at each category, etc. (What a lazy bunch we are!)

Maybe we always need to click on the "notify all" button :-\
(or whatever it is called!, the one you see when you set a new

I couldn't see the button you refer too, but wonder if some
people don't get the daily digest and so haven't seen that
Margaret is thinking of finishing the group.
There has been so little response. Don't people care?

I know I don't go into the competitions (I don't make cards and
my stitching and knitting is sooooooooo slow lol!) and I can't
always vote on teh competions (although 80% of the time I try
to).
The option I was thinking of is
Announce topic.
This only comes up when you start a new topic off, but if we all
did that then it would be similar to getting all mails on yahoo,
you don't have to follow the topic I guess but at least we all
know that the group is being used! I am as bad as any others at
not going in to all topics to see what has been posted.

This damn system!!
I just typed a great long reply to this and the system told me
there was another reply posted since I started and it lost
mine!!!!!
I really hate forum formats, but I have been trying very hard to
live with this one and to be supportive to the group and
involved in it. Things like this happening make me want to "say
stuff it all"!!! I am tired, need more sleep, feeling seriously
ratty and I can't deal with all this.
Synopsis of my lost message.
Thanks to Margaret for her time with the group.
Wanted to enter challenges this week, but can only do stuff
weekends and had a surprise visit from my sister who stayed
over, visited Dad for Fathers Day and spent 4 days being frantic
with a very sick pussy cat. So no time.
Conversations in forum format very difficult to follow unless
the subject is never deviated from or you can't tell what people
are replying to.
All other groups are really, really, really quiet now. Don't
know whether they are all dying or just on summer vacation.
Done, and if it does not post this I am quitting!!!

Welkl i have never been a fan of forums and never been a chatty
person, hence why i dont come in and chat. I dont do blogs
either, even tho i have one in blogfrog, not kept that up for at
least a year! I do enter the comps/challenges when i can but
only have about 2 crafting days a week, so dont get much
crafting done! I work weekends and see friends on a wednesday
most week if i want to join in the genealogy group. There was a
funeral yesterday for one of them, so not much time to reply to
the group.
I do get most of the daily digests, but last week i never got
any for about 4 days, so i popped into the group just to check
out the messages but didnt need to post anything myself.
