Well my bag is packed and I am ready to go to Pasadena. I am
nervous but excited. I sure hope that Alex can win one of the
three scholarships offered. The chefs here have lent him some
cooking utensil to take with so he can make his salad faster...
Alex made dinner for Ken & I on Sunday and it was wonderful. He
is going to make one heck of a good chef, whether he wins or not

Have a wonderful trip and all fingers and toes crossed for Alex.
I am sure he is bound to win, but in the unlikely case that he
doesn't it will still have been a wonderful experience for him.

Good luck to Alex. Enjoy your trip Jeana, i hope he wins, but
even if he isn't successful it will have been a wonderful
experience and he must be good to have got this far.
