my grandson

This is my grandson Alex. He is cooking today at La Cordon Bleu
School. He is 1 of 10 people cooking to win a $2000 scholarship.
He is making chicken cordon blue with a shallot/caper sauce
steamed asparagus and pure' potatoe

Just got a text from my daughter, Alex won first place. He has
won a $5000 scholarship(Ithought it was $2000) but this is even
better. Now he has to go to California for round 2 to compete
for a full ride scholarship...

Jeana, this is just fantastic news, both about Alex winning and
the prize being more than expected!!!

Today, Alex (grandson) was awarded Prostart student of the
year.. Prostart is his cooking class at the high school. Can you
tell his cooking teacher is proud of him lol
