Boy we have had a heat wave the last few days. We broke records.
It was 86 yesterday. I don't like it much when the temp goes
from high 50's to almost 90. Its to much to quick.
But on a good note. I have started adding chemicals to the pool
prior to opening it. Kenneth told me yesterday that it is blue
again yippee. Maybe I will have it ready in time this year. lol

Here, it is just getting warmer each day. We have already had
people in our pool although I wouldnt attempt it myelf. In the
space of 2 weeks we have gone from a thick, king size quilt to a
thin lightweight double quilt to just a counterpane on the bed
and for the past week we have also had the window open. I can
see the fan coming out soon ( wont use the air con as it is too
expensive to use)

And here we are into our last autumn month. We thought summer
was never going to end, as we were still having days in the mid
to high 30s C in mid April, then it suddenly cooled off! In a
week we went from having the fan on all night to a blanket then
to just a sheet. Last week we had 3 nights of about 6C, then
last night it went back up to 14C. The best thing about the
higher night temps at the moment is that the heat is locked in
by the cloud cover, and we might just get some much needed rain.
