surgery

Well next wed, I will be having knee surgery. Waiting on the
nurse to call with the time and the date I have to pre-register.
I am not having a replacement, they are just going in with a
scope to clean up the minescus and the arthritis. So glad I got
my April marathon finished.

Hope all goes well Jeana, my sister had something similar just
over a year ago, it took her longer to get better than a
acomplete replacement then she had a hip and has just had her
other hip done. Hopefully she will then be fit enough for her
back which was what she thought was causing all the pain in the
first place! It doesn't seem so long since you had an op and
used a little mobile thing to kneel on.

Will not be on here tomorrow, having my surgery. Have to be at
hospital at 6:30am. I told them they are seriously cutting into
my sleep time lol. Got a message tonight to drink lots of water,
or juice, but nothing after midnight...
We went out to dinner as I didn't want to cook. I had a delious
chicken fried steak with mash potatoes and broccoli, with a
salad and cornbread. was fab..

Good luck with the op Jeana. I was supposed to be having minor
surgery tonight to remove a small growth from my leg ( more like
a very large skin tag and harmless) but they have had to put it
back to tomorrow night now.

My surgery went well today. I was home by 11am. Surgery started
at 8am. I am up and walking, I do use the crutches just in case,
but I don't really need them. I have only had to take 1 pain
pill today, only because I had a time of it getting out of my
recliner. Had to figure out I needed to put my leg straight out
in front and then get up. lol Dr said I cant drive for at least
a week. ??? So Kyle will have to take me to my Dr appointment.
I did love making a list today and making Ken do the errands
hahaha
