I also like to see each individuals work, not just for ideas,
but they deserve a proper look, and the more someone has put
into making something, the better they have of getting a vote
from me, There are so many artistic styles from each and
everyone of us, that we can all learn from each other!

I do look at them and i do look properly I just have problems
picking and I think everyones work is fantastic
maybe I shouldnt vote but to be fair at least i take the time to
vote
I just have problems deciding who to pic so I do random picks
I dont just vote without seeing all the entries first that is
silly
I like to see everyones creations
now I wish i had kept my mouth shut

also I agree totally with Nettte voting should go for the time
stipulated and not closed early

I look at them also then pick my fav after that if we have to
vote more than once I just pick random

I would like to make a comment about the voting on the
challenges that may be a bit controversial.
Originally, at least one competition a month was sponsored by a
member and a prize awarded. In this case we very obviously
needed an outright winner.
Now, we collect points to an end of year prize, and as far as I
am aware, there is no finite number of points available for the
year.
Soooooooo, if we have a tie, why not award each entry the
points.
This would reward each entry and would mean no second round of
voting would be needed.

But to do it this way sometimes I would be awarding points to
almost every entry and this takes away the point of a
competition in the first place

If you use the standard rules whereby if you have a tie at any
point in results, then the next position is missed, ie 2 tied
for 1st place means next place is 3rd, how often would it happen
that you would need to award points to more than 3 or perhaps 4
entries?
Again, I stress, they are points not pennies and surely the idea
is to encourage participation..........

In the case of one of this months competitions there would have
been 1 winner and 4 in second place and all the rest in 3rd.
Quite apart from this I have a book here into which I record
everyones points. I could be logging points constantly this way
and I already spend too many hours on the group. I am not trying
to be selfish here but if someone else wants to take it on they
can be my guest
