Oh Gosh, what a Twit!!!

I have just arrived home from work.
I petted and fed the cat, then as it is bin collection day, I
gathered all the rubbish and took it out to the bins.
Unfortunately one of the next door neighbours cats is a bit of a
cheeky lad, and although I had pulled the front door closed, it
was not latched and the cat decided to visit. This caused my cat
to go out. Then when I got back in and evicted the visitor, his
housemate was camped outside the catflap. These are both more
dominant cats than mine, so with Max there, Booma would not be
able to get back in.
So I thought I would shoo Max away. Went to open the door, only
to find it was unlocked and unbolted, and has probably been like
this for months and months and months as I never use this
door!!!!!!
In a way it is a pity. Not a lot of value in the house, but
would have loved someone to have removed a few bus loads of
stuff!!!!
Locked up nice and tight now:)

How funny. When we first moved here we never locked our doors.
We live on the outskirts of town so not a lot of traffic.
Unfortunately they have built 2 new homes right next to us. and
6 homes behind us, and they have more homes started. As we all
have acreage, we don't know the new people behind us. Soo long
story short we always lock our doors now. Although occasionally
I have been know to go to town and forget to lock up oops.

LOL. I live in the middle of a reasonably large housing estate,
that when I moved here, ended at my house. Not the environment
to leave the house unlocked!

I am quite bad at locking the doors too! I have been to bed and
left the back door unlocked whilst Ian was on night shift!
Didn't find anyone - tall, dark and handsome walk in
unfortunately!
