I like the one on athens the most. simple, classic and best
representation of athens. greeks must feel very proud to have
the historical games to be hosted in their capital!

The 2012 logo really stands out doesn't it? Not in a good way
though, imho. Feels like it lacks a certain regal elegance.

Hi Timtam!
Yea, I kinda agree that the logo should portray the Olympic logo
and be representative of the host country in order for people to
remember it better! However, I remember the Lake Placid games
from the movie Miracle (if I'm not mistaken), so I guess the
name of the city also plays a big role in allowing others to
recognise the games better.
It is also intriguing that not all logos over the years make use
of the Olympic colours! Should they? There has to be some
significance there right?
