Ow Lord GW, there are no post numbers for Albert on this forum.
I like your idea about setting up a stealth motet 49ers board on
NewCafe? Invitation only, with a tough moderator? Could you look
into it? I'm really ignorant when it comes to these things and
you know your way around the net so If anyone can set this thing
up you could. I'm game for just about anything to avoid the
political stuff.
The more I think about tomorrows game the more confident I
become we will beat the Lions. Probably a good thing I'm not
near Nevada or I would bet a chunk on us winning. Our secondary
just has to avoid those drive saving pass interference calls and
make a couple of picks. It's going to be perfect weather for
football, perhaps cloudy with a little overcast.

Things are not all peaches and cream for the Lions offensive
line as well.
The Detroit Lions released their Thursday, September 13th injury
report and starting offensive guard T.J. Lang (back) was unable
to practice.
Lang hurt his back in Monday’s matchup and while he only missed
one snap in the game, he has yet to practice this week. With no
practice on Tuesday and yesterday being a walk-through, this
could just be a veterans rest day — as he typically gets — but
it may also be something worse and will be worth monitoring in
tomorrow’s final practice before the team heads to San
Francisco. Reserve offensive tackle Andrew Donnal was also
listed as a non-participant and has only practiced fully once
since being claimed off of waivers by the Lions.
Ezekiel Ansah was listed as a limited participant and was seen
in partial gear working on the side of the field with trainers.
As we reported in yesterday’s injury report, Ansah’s MRI
revealed no significant injury so this could be precautionary as
much as it may be something concerning.
The good news is Matthew Stafford and LeGarrette Blount were
both full participants for the second day in a row and their
status looks like it’s trending up for this weeks matchup.
Barring a significant setback, they should both be able to play.
Remember, these guys do not like to play on grass.

I'm really interested seeing WR James play. I hope JG gives him
some opportunities. He was good in preseason, and I'm hoping he
can continue against the Lions first team offense. Niners
35-24.

Thanks James for sending me the 'New Board'.
I have not always heard the discussion on our newcafe board. So
I'm not sure why we switch to this page. Maybe somebody can
explain that to me.
Let's die the Newcafe board?
In any case I'm looking for a win today vs the Lions!

<I'm considering Youtube TV. They say live NFL sports plus a
bunch of networks, $40/mo, cancel anytime, but I'm not sure of
the restrictions. Does anyone have experience with Youtube TV?>
I don't have any experience with it, but the research I did
while looking into options for my situation suggests that it
will work for you. Because you're in the 49ers local sports
market, all these streaming services will push you the game.
Once you leave the area, however, they stream local content
based on your current location. It seems like $40 is the price
point for just about all of them, more or less.
I agree with you about the format here. Not a fan. I can't
figure out how to just get to posts I haven't read, despite
clicking the link that suggests it does just that, and there's
no post numbers to reference.

The theory is that a moderated board would keep the political
bullshit out. I think that's a great goal, but I'm not sure
this is the right platform for our new forum. I liked the Motet
style.

Looks like Indy is putting a quick stop to all the Alex Smith
hype here in DC.
