Think we will win tomorrow if the 49ers pass rush shows up and
it will need to get Matthew Stafford to hand the secondary a few
interceptions. The Lions offensive line is nothing to write home
about, giving up 47 sacks in 2017. Despite the sack totals,
Matthew Stafford still managed 29 touchdowns to 10 interceptions
and a 65.7 percent completion rate. The 49ers will need to send
the pressure with DeForest Buckner, then the secondary needs to
capitalize.
Remember, the Lions have shown nothing much of a running game
which can be easily contained by the new and improved 49ers
defensive line. Stafford can sling it and our secondary needs
to avoid interference calls giving him first downs. The Lions
are a little short on preparation time so look for them to play
a containment defence. If we can get our running game going we
will kill them.

Sorry to be negative, but this message board is beyond awkward.
I see formatting options and successfully posted a pic, but I
can't figure out how to read new messages, or how to do anything
but post replies to Welcome to All 49ers. Maybe it gets better
with familiarity, but if there's a way we could make it work on
motet, without the political crap, I'd much prefer that.
So what about a stealth motet 49ers board on NewCafe? Invitation
only, with a tough moderator? Maybe it doesn't even appear under
Sports - Bay Area. Could we work a deal with NewCafe and go
under the radar like that? We could be about Craft Beer And
Titties, and just happen to throw in some 49ers talk.. which is
what we do anyway.

I'm not an expert on the niners rosters, so can someone tell me
why WR Burdridge (sp?) is on the team? I mean, what has he
done? I seen James do more in his limited time in the
preseason. Also, looks like Josh Gordon is gonna get released
in Cleveland. Anyone interested? I think if Gordon has his
head on straight, he can be a dangerous weapon for JG.

Hey aremily! I hear ya, it's harder to watch than ever. The
bootleg streams I used last year aren't working for me anymore.
Being in rural SFBA I can sometimes get watchable Fox/CBS
reception on rabbit ears, but sometimes not, and never NBC or
ESPN.
I'm considering Youtube TV. They say live NFL sports plus a
bunch of networks, $40/mo, cancel anytime, but I'm not sure of
the restrictions. Does anyone have experience with Youtube TV?

nb, Burbridge was released with an injury settlement. He's gone.
Josh Gordon I would not touch with a 10ft pole, but that's just
my take. LeVeon Bell, same. These guys screw their own teams; I
damn sure don't want them on mine.

BTW, nice to see you guys from the other board posting here. I
thoroughly enjoy your posts. I'll admit I'm not a expert on
football, but I've always enjoyed your insights. I'm amazed how
some of guys can start a "rumor", like Trent Brown going to the
Pats, and then it happens. I have no idea how in the you guys
do that. I mean, there's 31 other teams! The only thing I
think the other board missed badly was the OT Mchinley pick in
the 1st round. I don't recall anyone guessing that right. But
for the most part, you guys are on top of the news.

Gw...I hear Gordon's salary is only like 790K for this year.
Still not worth it? I agree he's a big headache, but he's got a
lot of talent. What a waste. Thanks for updating me on
Burbridge, I didn't realize he's gone.

So I just questioned the Youtube TV rep about live NFL game
availability area restrictions.

Dude told me they had an issue in preseason when a local entity
owned a piece of it, but there should be no problem in the reg
season.
He may be mistaken, or lying. But if they've actually defeated
the stupid NFL location rule, that would be significant.
