       Rules

       Specific Rules
       The rules below are intended to address common areas of
       clarification that arise in communities. They are not intended
       to be all-encompassing, nor should they be taken as such. The
       Community Culture is the primary guidance for posting on our
       communities – and for staff actions. As gray areas arise and are
       resolved, additional rules may be added. All lies used for
       boasting are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Please provide reasonable
       evidence that cannot be doubted before boasting.
       Post Respectfully & Intelligently
       It should go without saying that the culture prohibits the
       following:
       Trolling/Baiting/Flaming/Mocking/Harrassing others.
       Personally Attacking other members.
       Impersonation of other members/staff.
       Plagiarism of others' art/literature/music/etc.
       Posting links to pirated software of any sort, links to sites
       touting alleged "free" codes for games or software, or links to
       malicious websites is strictly forbidden.
       Advertisements.
       The use of racial, homophobic, or otherwise bigoted speech.
       The posting of images or GIFs containing uncensored profanity.
       Posting of explicit material in any form: images, video, text,
       or otherwise – The Desert Fox's Communities are PG-13. Explicit
       includes, but is not limited to:
       Material that contains nudity, exposes/brings focus to
       traditionally private areas, or displays/implies sexual
       activity.
       Material that includes graphic descriptions of sexual activity.
       Staff will have the final call on any questionable content.
       Expectations When Posting
       We ask that Community members strive for a certain level of
       quality content in their posts. As such, please avoid:
       Single image/meme/word responses.
       Posting +/-1 (use the like button instead).
       Thread bumps without substantial additional content.
       Multi/Double posting and duplicate threads.
       Begging for anything, likes/games/follows/subscriptions/etc.
       Account Specifics & Profile Pages
       Avatars and Signatures are held to the same standards as posts.
       Signatures must be no taller than 150px in height.
       Profile pages are subject to the same rules as public threads.
       Multiple Accounts are not allowed. The admin account does not
       count, it is separate for all staff members granted permission.
       Reporting, Peer Review, & Appeals
       When issues arise that need staff attention, we ask that members
       utilize the Report function.
       Click the “Report” button.
       Provide a reason for your report via private message to a staff
       member.
       Report & Carry On: Do not tell the other party you have reported
       them, do not use reporting as a threat, and do not continue to
       engage the troll/insulting party in dialogue. Let the Staff take
       care of the issue – it’s their job, not yours.
       If issues persist, members may utilize the “Ignore” feature to
       block communications from any other non-staff member.
       All staff actions are subject to peer review, appeals, and
       possible escalation. If you feel a staff member has acted in
       error and/or in violation of the Staff Creed, the following
       process should be utilized:
       Contact the staff member for a mature, rational discussion of
       the situation.
       Contact other staff members for a peer review of the situation.
       Contact Administrator-Level staff if the prior two steps have
       not resolved the situation satisfactorily.
       No one is perfect and mistakes happen. However, if a staff
       member is found to be acting in direct violation of the rules
       and creed, they are subject to disciplinary action – up to and
       including termination of their staff role.
       Warnings & Banishment
       Accounts found to be breaking the rules can receive a warning
       for those violations.
       -Three warnings results in 24 hours of suspension.
       -Five warnings results in one week of banishment.
       -Seven warnings results in one month of banishment.
       -Every three warnings after this is one month of banishment.
       -To rid yourself of banishment points, wait the same amount of
       time your banishment was supposed to last after your banishment
       is over.
       -Permanent banishments can be given if necessary.
       -Keep in mind, you can automatically get banishments without
       warning points.
       -Contact a moderator or admin with email if you believe there
       was a mistake.
