Two Side Of A Coin

Episode one
A journey is always easier and faster when you know there is
someone always there holding your hand through darkness telling
you there is a light at the end of this tunnel. That one person
is my bestfriend kimberly. She has always been there, through
thick and thin. I remember when we first met at a bookstore when
we bost simultaneously grabbed the last copy of a book on the
shelf. You can have it said an angelic voice. I looked up to
find her smiling at me, she got the prettiest smile i have ever
seen. ”No, you can have it, i live closeby, i can always check
back” she said. But… ”No but, i insist” she persuaded ”Alright
if you say so ” i finally said. I paid for the book and we walk
out of the bookstore together. ”I’m Kimberly by the way” she
said. ”I’m Lucia, thanks for letting me keep the book”. ”You’re
most welcome” she said. And that was the beginning of a long
lasting friendship. ” could i get your number to call you when i
finish reading the book incase you haven’t gotten it then, i
asked. Sure ”That’s so thoughtful of you” she said. I collected
her number and told her i’ll be in touch. We said godbyes and we
went our seperate ways.[center][/center][font=arial

Episode Two
I couldn’t stop talking about her to my mum.
Me : You must really like this Kimberly girl a lot for you not
to stop talking about her since you got home.
My mum Ms Loretta is a middle-age single mother. I lost my dad
when i was two and she has done everything to give me the best.
She has really been a good mother and a father. She owns a
boutique, one of the best in town.
Me : Mum i cant explain it, there is something special about
her, i said. Its like we got a connection.
Today is Saturday, one of those days i go to the boutique to
assist mum. I always enjoy myself whenever i went there because
i have a good rapport with the girls that work with my mum and
most of the customers that comes there.
Voice : Hello, how much is my bill
she asked as she placed the items she picked out on the counter.
I thought the voice was familiar, what a pleasant surprise as i
looked up to see the owner of the voice
Me : Hello, nice to see you again.
Kimberley : Same here, Lucia right ?
Me : Yeah, how have you been ?
Kimberly : I’m good and you ?
Me : Never been better
Kimberly : So what are you doing here ?
Me : My mum owns this place and i do come here once in a while
to help out a bit.
Kimberly : That’s nice
Me : The total is #31000
Kimberly : Alright
She reach for her purse to get the money.

Episode Three
Kimberly : Ooh ooh
Me : Are you okey ?
Kimberly: I think i have to take out a few things
Me : Why ?
Kimberly: The money i have in my purse is not enough for the
items i bought, I should have just taken all the money from the
house, now i have to drop some clothes and i really like them
Me : Why dont i follow you home and get the money
Kimberly : Can you really do that ?
Me : We dont really do that here but i guess i just want to
return the favour.
Kimberly: Yeah right, you’re just nice to me, that’s all.
When we got to her house, there was nobody at home. The house
was very big and beautiful.
Lucia: What a beautiful place you have here
Kimberly: Thanks
Me : Nobody home ?
Kimberly: I live here with my dad and he has gone to work.
Me : What about your mum ?
Kimberly: She died when she gave birth to me, i never knew her.
Me : I never knew my dad.
Kimberly: I guess we have something in common. Let me go
upstairs and get the balance and also get you something to
drink. What would you like ?
Me : Anything will do
Kimberly: Just a second
Few minutes later she came back with the balance and the drink.
Kimberly: Here is the drink and the balance. I really do
appreciate you coming home with me to get the balance.
Me : Its nothing at all. So what do you do ?
Kimberly: I assist my dad in his business currently, pending
when i decide on what to do. What about you ?
Me : I intended to go into event management but still thinking
about it.
Kimberly: That’s a good one.
I thought we both had a connection, now i understand why, we
both are missing a parent. Having a friend like her who
understand what it feel like not having one of your parent. I
have found something special and rare with her and i intend to
keep it.
