Something I just thought of, if the armor does get a DR would
that work against magic too?

What type of magic? Just a Straight damage spell? if so I would
think it should for the investment. Secondardy effects I would
say no but against the actual damage of spells I would think yes
it would.

Mmmm I dont know, I think the armor should for sure reduce
physical attacks but not magic. Unless it was resistant armor
also.

I could see it reducing natural attacks, like natural 5 fire or
Ice. But im not really for it stopping magic since magic can hit
you anywhere and affect you.

I think that it should reduce damage spells honestly. It would
only be for damage spells (except for body damage spells because
they go straight to body) and would be a relatively minor buff
for warriors against magic users who have a whole slew of other
tools in their kit to mess with them.

DR is one of the effects that can become unbalanced fairly
easily, so I recommend thinking through any 'munchkin' adds that
may be tossed on to it. By allowing it for Armor, do not be
tempted to allow items that will allow it's use for Natural
Armor.
My assumption is 'Waylay' will work fine to bypass it (provided
they do not have a helmet) and attacks that go straight to Body
would also bypass it.
